Robin Williams vs Alison Spittle

Some people are more inventive than others when it comes to entertaining themselves during the coronavirus lockdown.

Irish comedian Alison Spittle, for instance, has been hosting a #CovideoParty every night where she picks a movie, dresses up in theme of the movie and watches it live - streaming with her fans, followers and other comics who are doing the same.

For example in the above picture, which she posted on Instagram, she adopted the persona of Alan Parrish from Jumanji, as originally played by Robin Williams in the 1995 original.

She's also tackled the likes of Dirty Dancing and Matilda – and tonight's offering is Beetlejuice:

Dressing up as miss trunchbull for Matilda #covideoparty tonight using house hold items. I call this look "child abuse but make it fashion" I made this look using eight bras, a belt, hiking shoes a kettle bell and a brush handle. My make up is and eye brow pencil and blush.
