Cruise line announces its 2026 comedy festival

Lucy Beaumont, Seann Walsh, Milton Jones and Babatunde Aléshé are among the stand-ups playing a week-long comedy festival aboard a cruise ship.

They have been announced as part of the line-up for Virgin Voyages’s third annual UK Comedy Fest, which sails from Portsmouth on August 20.

A total of 15 comedians will be joining the Valiant Lady, it was annoucned today, with the rest of the line-up comprising Kae Kurd, Desiree Burch, Matt Richardson, Darren Walsh, Ken Cheng, Aurie Styla, Laura Smyth, Travis Jay, Jack Skipper, Louise Young and the Impro Allstars group. 

A spokesperson for the cruise line said: ‘Because it’s an adults-only experience, there’s no need to hold back - just bold, unfiltered comedy in a space where performers can truly be themselves.’

The cruise features stops in Bruges, Amsterdam and Hamburg, with an overnight stay in the German city. Tickets start at £2,104 per cabin to £7,800 for the best suite.
