Cambridge Comedy Garden back for a third year

Manchester's A Lovely Weekend festival also returns

The Cambridge Comedy Garden is returning in July with a lineup that includes some of the biggest names on the British comedy circuit, including Jack Dee, Ross Noble, Dylan Moran and Sara Pascoe

Also on the bill in the big top erected in Parker's Piece from July 8 to 12 are Chris McCauslandTom Allen and David O’Doherty – plus some newer names.

The festival is now in its third year, and is part of the wider Comedy Gardens series run across the UK by siblings Will Briggs and Cass Randolph.

'We cannot wait to bring this incredible bill to Cambridge this summer,' said Briggs. 'Last year's festival was so much fun, and this year audiences are in for such a treat.’

• A Lovely Weekend, a three-day comedy festival at Fairfield Social Club in Manchester, returns from May 29 to 31 with around 20 shows featuring the likes of Harriet Kemsley, Mark Silcox and SNL’s Larry Dean. The festival will also feature the first live show from Sean McLoughlin's podcast the Sean McTalk show. Tickets are on sale here.
