Bristol Comedy Garden returns for 15th year
Line-up announced
Bristol Comedy Garden is back for its 15th edition, with Jack Dee, Josh Widdicombe and Chris McCausland among the headliners performing in Queen Square from June 17-21.
The comedy festival, launched in 2011 by siblings Will Briggs and Cass Randolph, has become one of the southwest's biggest annual events, welcoming tens of thousands of ticket holders each year.
This year's lineup also features Sara Pascoe, Rob Delaney, Nina Conti, Fin Taylor, Simon Amstell, Fern Brady and Michelle de Swarte.
Other acts include Sarah Keyworth, John Robins, Jen Brister, Larry Dean, Ivo Graham, Jamali Maddix, Laura Smyth, Helen Bauer and Lou Sanders.
The festival will also showcase newer talent including Ele McKenzie, Limahl Germain, Bella Hull, Jen Nolan, Molly McGuiness and Hasan al Habib.
Will Briggs said: 'We're celebrating 15 years of bringing our favourite acts to Bristol this year. The energy, and the fun of the crowds every year is second to none, pairing that with this year's lineup is going to be thrilling and we can't wait for summer to start.'
The event combines stand-up comedy with bars and street food in a festival setting in the heart of the city.
