Birmingham Comedy Festival confirms 2025 programme

Over 90 shows in 10 days

The Birmingham Comedy Festival has released the full programme of this year’s event, featuring more than 90 performances from Friday 3 to Sunday 12 October.

A series of events celebrate film and TV comedy, including  The Comic Strip Presents ...  in which Robin Ince is joined by troupe founder Peter Richardson and other team members; Laurel and Hardy film screenings; and tours of the stage version of Inside No.9 and Dom Joly’s Trigger Happy TV.

Stand-up highlights include Gary Delaney (pictured), Babatunde Aléshe, Kane Brown, Emmanuel SonubiSikisa, Henning Wehn  Elliot Steel, Lily Phillips, Geoff Norcott  plus Australian sketch powerhouses  Aunty Donna.

The festival officially kicks off with the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award at  The Glee Club on October 3. 

More than 12,000 people attend the independent festival every year.
