When is The Horne Section TV Show coming to Channel 4?

Channel 4  has confirmed an air date for Alex Horne’s Horne Section TV Show.

The show will air weekly from 10pm on Thursday November 17.

The news comes on the eve of the  entire box set being available on All4 from tomorrow.

Its premise is that Horne has tired has tired of being Taskmaster’s little assistant, and finally gets the chance to be the star of his very own late night music chat show, which he insists on filming live from his family home.

With the help of his loyal, and much more talented, band The Horne Section, Alex is ready to pull out all the stops to impress the big bosses at Channel 4.

Guest stars include Greg Davies, Tim Key  and John Oliver, plus Desiree Burch who plays Alex’s frustrated produce), Georgia Tennant who plays an executive from Channel 4 and Camille Ucan  who plays the talk show’s researcher.

Meanwhile, Horne’s band comprises Joe Auckland (trumpet and banjo), Mark Brown (saxophone and guitar), Will Collier (bass), Ben Reynolds (drums and percussion), Ed Sheldrake (keyboards).
