Comic hosts drivetime show next week

Mash Report comedian Steve N Allen is joining Union Jack Radio for a week.

The stand-up will be hosting the digital radio station’s drivetime show from Monday until Christmas Eve, standing in for regular presenter Adam English.

Allen has previously hosted programmes  BBC Three Counties Radio, Time FM and BBC Radio Kent, and created a topical show for Fubar Radio.

He said: ‘Union Jack Radio is a station that celebrates the very best of British comedy and, as a British comedian, I’m very excited to have the opportunity to present the drivetime show – even if only for a week. Hopefully the listeners will think of it as a nice Christmas present.’

The show runs from 4pm on digital radio, online at unionjack.co.uk, or via the Jack Radio Player app.
