Travel show for Eugene Levy

Schitt's Creek star is The Reluctant Traveler for Apple TV+

Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy is to host a new travel series for Apple TV+.

In  The Reluctant Traveler, the 74-year-old comedy star will visit some of the world's most remarkable hotels and explore the people, places and cultures that surround them.

Levy is being billed a ‘not your average travel show host’ as he is ‘not usually adventurous or well versed in globe-trotting’,

But producers at British-based programme-makers Twofour say he's agreed the time is right for him to broaden his horizons in the hope that ‘his experiences might lead to a whole new chapter in his life…as long as he doesn’t have to battle his motion sickness, and still gets dinner at 7pm’

In addition to starring, Levy executive produces alongside David Brindley, the BBC’s former head of popular factual and factual entertainment commissioning and now chief creative officer at Twofour.
