Fringe By The Sea announces its 2021 line-up

Comics confirmed for North Berwick festival

Question marks may still remain over what form this year’s Edinburgh Fringe might take… but the nearby Fringe By The Sea has announced its programme.

Comics taking part in the event, running in North Berwick from August 6 to 15, include Ed Byrne, Reginald D Hunter and Janey Godley.

They will be joined by an eclectic programme that includes Lulu, Basement Jaxx, Gail Porter, Irvine Welsh, Lemn Sissay, Eddi Reader and Vince Cable.

Just The Tonic comedy club will present two mixed bill line-ups in a socially distanced big top, one headlined by Byrne, the other by Hunter.

Meanwhile, Godley and Simon Evans will be bringing their latest show to the festival, as Phil Kay joins the children’s programme.

Fringe By The Sea director Rory Steel said: ‘Putting together this programme has been invigorating, so many performers are keen to get back out in front of audiences and people are excited to see live shows.’

Tickets will available from  9am tomorrow on the festival website.
