London residency for Drunk Women Solving Crime

Podcast to be recorded at Museum Of Comedy

True crime comedy podcast Drunk Women Solving Crime have announced a new London residency.

Two shows will be recorded at the Museum of Comedy in Bloomsbury every month, with celebrity guests attempting to solve historical crime cases in a quiz-style format over drinks.

‘After more than a year of remote recordings, we couldn’t be more excited to get back on stage with a live audience,’ said Hannah George, who is one of the podcast’s three creator-hosts along with Catie Wilkins and Taylor Glenn.

‘We have amazing audiences, the sort of people whose "heckles" are historical facts about the case we’re doing,’ added Glenn. ‘From the darkness we’ll hear someone shout "statute of limitations!" We usually thank them before we politely tell them to be quiet."’

Previous guests have included Ricki Lake, London Hughes, Fortune Feimster, Shappi Khorsandi and Katherine Ryan.

The first of the new double recordings is on July 20.
