Edinburgh Fringe offers cash help for 2021

Applications now open

Comedians and venues can apply for a share of a £75,000 funding pot to help them come to the Edinburgh Fringe this year.

The comedy came from a crowdfunding campaign and a series of online events, as well as backing from investment platform  AJ Bell.

Applications are now open for five grants of £5,000 and ten grants of £2,500, for any participants who registered for the 2019 or cancelled 2020 event.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society says priority will be given to projects that aim to improve for access to the Fringe for underrepresented groups.

Applications will close at 10am on Monday May 3 and full details are available here.
