Title to be published in Israel, Finland, Romania and the Czech Republic

Adam Kay’s forthcoming children’s book is to be published in Israel, Finland, Romania and the Czech Republic.

Publishers Penguin Random House Children's say they struck the deals for Kay’s Anatomy in just two weeks – and while staff were working remotely.

The title – following the success of the medic-turned-comedian's NHS memoirs This is Going to Hurt and Twas the Nightshift Before Christmas – is a humorous and educational tour of the human body for readers aged eight to 12, and will be published in the UK in October. Order here.

Penguin Random House executive Anne Bowman told trade website The Bookseller: 'This is Going to Hurt was translated into an incredible 37 languages and with this more general topic, aimed at a new audience, we hope to place his books with even more publishers globally.'
