Most the judging to take place online

Entries have opened for this year’s Funny Women Award.

However this year the finalists in the stage awards will be chosen entirely by video submission, as both the opening round and semi-finals will be taking place online because of the coronavirus restrictions. 

Funny Women is now in its 17th year,  with previous winners and finalist including Katherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, Sarah Millican and  Susan Calman.

The live final is scheduled to go ahead at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on Thursday September 24.
