Contest to find the funniest virus-themed song

The producers of the Musical Comedy Award have launched a competition to find the funniest song based around the coronavirus.

Comics stuck indoors are invited to submit an entry to the 'Crooners Against Corona' contest, which has  a £150 prize up for grabs.

The winner will also get to perform at the final of the traditional live competition at London’s Bloomsbury theatre on October 10.

To enter, post a link of your song to the awards’ Facebook page by  midnight on April 30t.

The Musical Comedy Award  are also donating £150 to food bank charity The Trussell Trust.
