Jason Manford to host the Olivier Awards again

Saluting Theatreland in the Royal Albert Hall

Jason Manford is to host this year’s Olivier Awards, honouring the best of British theatre.

The comic, currently starring in the touring musical Curtains, will be taking the job for the third time, having previously done the honours in 2017 and 2019.

He said: ‘It's great to be back hosting the Olivier Awards. Having trod the boards myself many times, I've experienced first-hand the huge wealth of creativity and talent across the UK theatre industry.

‘I look forward to celebrating all the incredible work produced over the last year. It will definitely be a night to remember.’

The ceremony will be held at London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday April 5, with shortlists unveiled on March 3.
