Film shoots this autumn

Simon Pegg is to star in a new comedy heist thriller.

My Only Sunshine is about a dysfunctional couple who stage a bank robbery as an unconventional act of marriage counselling. The crime culminates in a violent hostage situation, unearthed by a police negotiator.

What role Pegg will play has not yet been revealed, but he will co-star with J.K. Simmons, who played  J. Jonah Jameson in Spiderman.

Director Mark Palansky will start shooting in the autumn, and the film will be hawked around the Toronto International Film Festival net month.
