Who's playing the 2019 Greenwich Comedy Festival

Line-ups announced

Sean Lock, Josh Widdicombe, Sara Pascoe and Jason Manford are among the headliners for this year’s Greenwich Comedy Festival.

The event  returns to the grounds of the National Maritime Museum  from September 4 to 8, with other acts taking to the marquee including  Bridget Christie, Tim Key, Nish Kumar and Reginald D Hunter

Now in its 11th year, the festival typically attracts more than 10,000 comedy fans to see the club-style line-ups in the historic setting.

It is run by siblings Will Briggs and Cass Randolph, step-children of the infamous promoter and compere Malcolm Hardee.

In a statement, they said: ‘ "We’re very proud that the festival has found a permanent place in the city’s cultural calendar. So many fans come back each year knowing they are going to see something special because you rarely get to see so many top-level comedians alongside each other like this.’
