Kevin Bridges and Michael McIntyre have both won comedy awards – in a very exclusive pool.

They have been been voted the favourite comics to have played the SSE Hydro in Glasgow and The SSE Arena in Wembley respectively.

Bridges sold out 19 shows at the Scottish venue, shifting more than 200,000 tickets. He previously won the ‘Gie It Laldy’ award that the venue made up last autumn to hail his box office success.

Others in the running for the SSE Live awards for 2018 gigs included  Kevin Hart, Russell Peters and Chris Rock.
