Edinburgh comics come to on-demand service

Stand-up video-on-demand service NextUp are filming some Edinburgh Fringe shows at the Edinburg Fringe.

This week they are recording

• Roisin and Chiara : Back to Back
• Laura Lexx: Trying (pictured)
• Alison Thea-Scott : Thea-Skot Through the Heart And You're to Blame
• Norris & Parker: Burn the Witch

And ten more will be taped in London after the festival ends.

Company co-founder Sarah Henley said of the shows they chose: ‘As well as being brilliantly funny - they’re surreal, sketch, storytelling, absurd and reflect the true variety of the Fringe which we’re delighted to record for fans everywhere to enjoy." 

NextUp features over 95 full-length comedy specials from household names such as Richard Herring and Tommy Tiernan as well as rising stars such as Rachel Parris and Jordan Brookes. Subscription costs £3.50 a month.
