...as Vic Reeves creator Jim Moir is back on form
Sam Nicoresti won the Sky Arts Award for comedy last night for her show Baby Doomer.
The event also marked the return of Vic Reeves creator Jim Moir to the red carpet, following his health scare earlier this month.
The 67-year-old comic appeared in good spirits as he posed for photographers with his wife Nancy Sorrell.

It comes just over a week after being rushed to hospital by ambulance after ‘pushing himself too hard’ at a wedding in Dorset. His representatives said he ‘was checked over and given a clean bill of health’ after been wheeled out of the party by paramedics.
Also attending last night’s bash were Susie McCabe and Nick Mohammed – who had been for their shows Coming of Rage and Show Pony, respectively – as well as Shaparak Khorsandi and Sara Pascoe and her husband Steen Raskopoulos.

Nicoresti’s Baby Doomer previously won last year’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for best show.
Other winners last night included Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who took the lifetime achievement award, Channel 4’s Gaza: Doctors Under Attack, which took the TV award, and James Graham’s play Punch, which won the theatre category.
