CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN: The 1950 family comedy, which inspired Shawn Levy's 2003 film, its sequel, and the remake of the remake, comes to Talking Pictures TV. It stars Clifton Webb in the role Steve Martin subsequently made famous. Talking Pictures TV, 1pm
THE FOOTAGE DETECTIVES: Speaking of Talking Pictures TV, the channel has been given access to Spike Milligan’s personal archive, and tonight airs exclusive footage of performances and home videos in a special edition of this weekly programme.
