Marking 40 years in comedy.
Jack Dee has announced a 52-date tour to mark his 40 years in comedy.
Jack’s Joke Show kicks off in Milton Keynes in February, following a run at the Edinburgh Fringe last month.
The comic, who has hosted Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue since 2019, said: ‘Jack’s Joke Show is a compilation of all my favourite old jokes and where they belong in my life story. It’s proved very popular with audiences in London and Edinburgh and I’m really looking forward to taking it all around the country.’
Dee is also is about to launch a new podcast with fellow comedian Seann Walsh and producer Sara Morgan, entitled Another Day Ruined. The comics have hosted four series of Oh My Dog!, which focuses on their lives and relationships with their dogs.
The new show revolves around a 'help desk' where the stand-ups offer ' terrible advice and the occasional genuinely useful solution' to life's minor inconveniences and dilemmas. A decade ago, Dee hosted a similar Help Desk programme for BBC Two.
Dee's last stand-up tour, Small World, was recored for Sky at the London Palladium last year.
