Bert Tyler-Moore continues the soap opera...
The creator of Channel 4 comedy The Windsors has written a novel continuing his fictional account of the goings-on in the Royal Family.
Bert Tyler-Moore's Windsor vs Windsor imagines Prince Harry suing Prince William for 'wilful and malicious sibling rivalry', with the sensational claims of Harry's memoir Spare finally facing a day in court.
As the case unfolds, the suitability of William and Kate as future king and queen comes under scrutiny, while other family members – Andrew among them– jostle for influence in ways that threaten to bring the whole institution down.
Tyler-Moore co-created The Windsors with the late George Jeffrie. Before that he wrote Star Stories and Pete vs Life, and has contributed to Armstrong and Miller, My Family and the relaunch of Spitting Image.
Windsor vs Windsor is his first novel and will be published by Duckworth Books on July 16, priced £9.99.
The Windsors ran on Channel 4 for three series from 2016 to 2023. A fourth series went into production that year but was suspended following the death of Haydn Gwynne, who played Camilla.
• Windsor vs Windsor is available from Amazon priced £9.99 in hardback – or from uk.bookshop.org, below, which supports independent bookstores.
