Comic Lee Ridley moves into kids' TV

Lost Voice Guy Lee Ridley has written episodes of the new children's TV  show Zog.

The Britain's Got Talent winner revealed on social media that he had worked on the new CBeebies series about the dragon created by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

He said on Instagram: ‘It was a nice change to write jokes for a dragon instead of for myself! The biggest challenge was squeezing an entire story into just 11 minutes of television. Hope you enjoy watching them with your little ones (or without… I won't judge!)’

Episodes he penned include Twiggy Takes Over, about a prideful unicorn embarrassed to be seen using a walking frame, which is now on iPlayer.

Ridley told the BBC: 'He's as high maintenance as I am, I was able to have a lot of fun with his constant demands and dramatic personality. Although, unlike me, he probably doesn't need three people helping him into an accessible taxi.’
