The week's best comedy on TV and radio
Our pick of the comedy on TV, radio and streaming this week.

This version was filmed at the Bell House in Brooklyn and features guest appearances from Neil Patrick Harris, and Dyson Knight of the Baha Men. It comes before the anarchic Stamptown cabaret show he hosts in the same guise as a desperate-to-make-it comedian records a Netflix special next month.
ASHLEY FRIEZE IS WASTING HIS TIME: The comic's third album of comic songs is described as a 'cheerfully misanthropic middle-aged rage against other people's shit, interspersed with silly jokes'. It's available here.

Thursday April 16
TASKMASTER: Armando Iannucci adopts a new persona before performing a daring stunt, Kumail Nanjiani grapples with skittles while wearing oven gloves, Joanna Page attempts a tricky skill she hasn't tried since she was 12, Joel Dommett twirls a pretty umbrella and someone shouts about scrambled eggs to Amy Gledhill. Channel 4, 9pm.
BIG MOOD: After a year apart, Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West's characters Maggie and Eddie are reunited as bridesmaids at a friend's wedding in the first of two episodes. Read an interview with creator Camilla Whitehill about writing jokes around mental illness and more here. Channel 4, 10pm.
Friday April 17
