Amandaland, Big Boys, Things You Should Have Done and How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge) are all up for best scripted comedy at this year’s Baftas.

Amandaland also dominated the best comedy actress category with Lucy Punch, Philip Dunned and Jennifer Saunders all in the running alongside Katherine Parkinson for Here We Go, Diane Morgan for Mandy, and Rosie Jones for Pushers. 

The best actor shortlist is Lenny Rush for Am I Being Unreasonable?, Jon  Pointing for Big Boys, Oliver Savell for Changing Ends, Jim Howick for Her We Go, Steve Coogan for How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge) and Mawaan Rizwan for Juice.

The Graham Norton Show, Last One Laughing, Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Would I Lie To You? are up for the entertainment award.

Romesh Ranganathan has been nominated twice in the entertainment performance category, both for his travelogue Can’t Knock The Hustle and  alongside Rob Beckett for Rob & Romesh vs.

Bob Mortimer must be considered a favourite in this category for his his star turn in Last One Laughing, while the nominees list is rounded out by Claudia Winkleman for The Celebrity Traitors, Lee Mack for The 1% Club and Amanda Holden and Alan Carr for Amanda’s & Alan’s Spanish Job.

The main Bafta television awards will be hosted by Greg Davies on May 10 at the Royal Festival Hall in London and will be broadcast that evening on BBC One

Meanwhile, the shortlist  for best comedy writer is: Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli for Am I Being Unreasonable?; Jack Rooke for Big Boys; Steve Coogan and Rob and Neil Gibbons for How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge) and Kat Sadler for Such Brave Girls.

This is handed out at the separate ‘craft' awards to be hosted by Maisie Adam on April 26.

The crew behind Rom & Romesh Vs are also up for best entertainment craft team, where they are up against Celebrity Traitors, One Show with Ed Sheeran and Squid Games 

Comedy also dominates the emerging talent (fiction) category – with the directors of Am I Being Unreasonable? (Emily McDonald); G’wed (Chloe English); Juice (Eros V) and Just Act Normal (Janice Okoh) all shortlisted.

Last One Laughing's director Ben Hardy has also been nominated for best multi-camera director. 

The main television awards are sponsored by P&O Cruises and  the craft awards by  Samsung OLED
