LONDON: James Acaster kicks off his new tour at the Clapham Grand – and, unusually for the king of the high concept, it has no title and the vaguest of descriptions, with promoters calling it 'a brand new show, full of everything you love about James Acaster and more'. That hasn't stopped many of the nights – including this one – selling out pretty darned quick. James Acaster tour dates

Wednesday March 4

LONDON: Black Books star Dylan Moran – who's recently announced his own stand-up tour for later in the year –toplines the Hackney Comedy Experience at Earth. And the rest of the bill isn't too shabby, either comprising Sophie Duker, Jordan Brookes, Flo and Joan and Sunil Patel. Tickets

Saturday March 7

LONDON: A strong bill at Downstairs at the King's Head in Crouch End features Mark Thomas, Alan Francis, Mad Ron, Martin Durchov, Stefano Paolini and Michael Legge. It is an unusually all-male line-up, however - especially on the eve of International Women's Day.
