Wolf & Owl adds video
New chapter for Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis podcast
Wolf & Owl, the podcast hosted by comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis, is to launch a video version when it returns for a new series next week.
The new episodes – which will all be in-studio and in-person – will be made by Ranganathan's company Ranga Bee, having previously been a co-production with Josh Widdicombe’s Keep It Light Media.
Ranganathan said of the new series: 'There were rumours during the break that I'd tried to cut Tom off and end Wolf and Owl. I want to end the speculation by confirming that's true. It didn't work. We're back. You're welcome.'
Davis added: 'Nothing makes me happier than spending time and chatting shit with Rom. Now we get to do this in a sweet new studio with the world able to listen and watch our inane conversations.’
The format stays the same with the two comedians chatting, fielding listener dilemmas and covering whatever comes to mind.
Ranga Bee previously worked with commercial partner Platform Media on The Romesh Ranganathan Show, which launched last year and accumulated more than 15 million video views in five months.
The new series will be available to watch on Spotify and YouTube, and to listen on all major podcast platforms from March 3.
The main episode, running around 45 minutes, will go out every Tuesday, with a 20-minute bonus episode answering listener questions following each Friday.
