DOCTORS ON HOLD: This new series from Tony Gardner and GP/comedian Phil Hammond revolves around two doctors who talk over the phone in a struggling GP surgery. The writers. star alongside Mina Anwar, Anna Crilly and Alana Ramsey. Radio 4, 11pm.
Thursday January 15
ROB AND ROMESH VS: The comedians spend time with Team GB ahead of the Winter Olympics Sky Max, 9:00pm.
MAISIE ADAM: APPRAISAL: Stand-up special from Maisie Adam, looking back at her comedy career so far. Sky Comedy, 9:00pm.
PIGLETS: The sitcom set in a fictional police training college returns for a second series, albeit on ITV2 rather than the main channel. The first run attracted a complaint from the Police Federation, who said the sitcom's title was offensive, and mixed reviews. It comes from Green Wing creator Victoria Pile and the tone is silly. The cast includes Mark Heap, Sarah Parish and Rebecca Humphries, ITV2, 10:05pm.
