Comedian to host drivetime show on builders' station

Josh James is to become a presenter on Fix Radio – the station aimed at builders and tradespeople.

The comedian will host the 3pm to 6pm show on Mondays to Thursdays with his friend Chris White – a tiler who  also co-host the  podcast That Josh James Show. 

James said: ‘Chris and I can’t wait to join Fix Radio and to have a drivetime show on a national radio station.

‘Drivetime is when people need a laugh the most, stuck in traffic or heading home after a stressful few hours, we’ll make your day a little less miserable.’

Andy Shier, director of programming at Fix Radio, added: ‘Fix Radio is investing in on-air talent that we’re confident will build our audience reach and listening hours."

The new programme will air from January 12 – and will effectively replace a show called Down Tools with Trev and Rich, who will have a new slot on Saturdays. The station is available on DAB and online.
