Comic to address pop culture questions
Josh Widdicombe is to host a new podcast based on stories from pop culture.
The comic said: ‘I cannot wait for people to hear this show. Music, television and film is a world of brilliant, mad (and brilliantly mad) geniuses doing incredible things is bizarre ways.
‘These are the most fascinating tales ever told and they’re also very funny. This is my dream show to listen to, but it didn’t exist so I made it.’
The show – Josh Widdicombe’s Museum Of Pop Culture – will drop two episodes a week from January 1 and feature a rotating team of co-hosts comprising Suzi Ruffell, Matthew Crosby and Tom Craine.
Topics under discussion will include:

- Is Mr Blobby the most misunderstood entertainer of the 20th Century?

Josh Widdicombe has had a successful track record in podcasting, with Parenting Hell – which he co-hosts with Rob Beckett – a perennial chart-topper, It has had more than 850 million downloads and spawned an arena tour in 2023.
And his 1990s football nostalgia show Quickly Kevin, Will He Score? attracted 35 million downloads in the seven years it was broadcast, ending last year.
Josh Widdicombe’s Museum Of Pop Culture is made by Keep It Light Media, whose credits include Alan Carr’s Life’s A Beach and Like Minded Friends with Suzi Ruffell and Tom Allen.
