Diane Morgan's alter-ego returns

Diane Morgan’s Mandy is to return for a Christmas special.

In the 20-minute episode her character is said to be having ‘one of the worst Christmases ever’ as she dabbles in global diplomacy.

Michelle Greenidge, Tom Basden, Roger Sloman, Hugh Quarshie also co-star in the episode, entitled The Mandy Who Knew Too Much

No broadcast date has been confirmed for the BBC Two show, revealed as part of the BBC’s festive line-up this morning.

It is the second festival character featuring Morgan's hapless alter-ego, following last year's We Wish You a Mandy Christmas:
