Changing Ends peaks at 1.5million viewers

Success for series 3 of Alan Carr sitcom

The third series of Alan Carr's autobiographical comedy Changing Ends peaked with 1.5million viewers for its first episode on Sunday.

With an average of 1.2million, that gives the sitcom the biggest overnight comedy audience on a commercial channel in 2025.

However, that statistic is less impressive given that it’s the only scripted comedy to air on ITV1 this year.

The audience is also up 14 per cent on the series two launch, most likely boosted by its scheduling after I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The show proved especially successful with the 16-34 audience, reaching a quarter of all TV viewers in that  demographic  at the time.
