Guests to include Mike Wozniak, Tim Key, James Acaster

Sam Campbell and Lucy Beaumont are making a second series of their podcast Lucy & Sam’s Perfect Brains.

They launched the series after appearing together on Taskmaster in 2023, and last year’s season racked up more than 1.6 million downloads over its 21 episodes. 

Beaumont joked: ‘I’ve been forced, against my will, to make another podcast with Sam. Just like my time in the Secret Service I will do it with utmost sincerity and professionalism. Let’s see where this mad project takes us.’

Campbell added: ‘Of all the people I’ve spoken to in my life, Lucy is easily the most… um… amazing.’

Series two launches on Friday with guests including Mike Wozniak, Tim Key, James Acaster and the return of Beaumont’s mum.

It comes ahead of the launch of Celebrity Traitors next week, in which Beaumont is one of the contestants.

The podcast is produced by Plosive – the team behind Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster, Sara & Cariad’s Weirdos Book Club and others. There’s a trailer here.
