Regular Radio Wales slot for Robin Morgan
Comedian takes over Sunday lunchtimes
Comedian Robin Morgan has landed a regular presenting slot on BBC Radio Wales.
The stand-up will be on air for three hours on Sundays from midday, starting in September.
Morgan also hosts Radio Wales’s topical comedy panel show What Just Happened? and is a regular stand-in on the channel - most recently stepping in for shamed Wynne Evans, who was axed in May over the ‘inappropriate language’ he used during the launch of the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
He said: ‘I’ve loved spending time with the listeners this year - and now I get to do it during the best part of the week: during Sunday lunch. It’s going to be three hours of fun and games, great music and big laughs. I can’t wait to get started.’
Singer Bronwen Lewis will be taking over Wynne Evans’s morning slot from the autumn and said: ‘To represent a station that has given me so much not just as a presenter but as a listener too - it’s honestly a dream come true.’
