As Julian Clary returns after 17 years

Katherine Parkinson is to guest host Have I Got News For You for the first time.

The IT Crowd and Rivals star will host episode three of the current series on Friday Apri  18.

She said: ‘It’s such an honour to present this institution of a show, one that I’ve enjoyed watching for years. I really hope I can read the autocue, I think I probably need glasses now. I suppose we’ll find out.'

Joining her on the panel will be comedian Julian Clary, his first time on the programme since 2008,  as well as Financial Times columnist Jemima Kelly making her first appearance.
