Revenge for comments Jaime Caravaca made about baby son

This is the shocking moment a far-right activist attacked a comedian on stage, as a social media row spilled over into real life.

Alberto Pugilato laid into left-wing Spanish comic Jaime Caravaca during a show in Madrid, in response to comments the stand-up had made about his baby son.

Pugilato – who last month posted that Adolf Hitler was ‘still right about everything’ and regular shares antisemitic memes – is a vocal anti-gay rights activist and a few days reported a video in which someone burns the Pride flag before making the Nazi salute.

But when he shared a picture of his three-month old son on social media, Caravaca commented: ‘No one will be able to avoid the possibility of him being gay and when he grows up will become tired of sucking black dick.’

Pugilato responded online by saying: ‘I assure you that you are going to apologise for what you said about my 3-month-old son and you will discover that real life is not Twitter.'

True to his threat, he retaliated by  showing up at the gig and physically confronting Caravaca, a comic who has previously appeared on Spain’s Got Talent.

During the attack, Pugilato shouted: 'Those paedophilic comments about my son...say them to my face...you piece of trash…now!

'What were you saying, huh? That my son was going to eat cock? He's three months old. Trash. Now what? Say it to my face...say it to my face now.'

Pugilato threw a punch at Caravaca, sending him to the corner of the stage, and a member of the audience tried to intervene.

Pugilato later shared footage of the assault on social media, saying: ‘I'm just a father who defends his children. I feel peace.’

Police were reportedly  called to the scene, but made no arrests as the comedian chose not to press charges.

Caravaca has since apologised for his initial comments, which he has now deleted, writing on X today: ‘After what happened, what was intended to be a joke was ultimately an unfortunate and not at all appropriate comment on my part. My apologies to anyone who feels affected. Let's put violence aside, and leave a good world for people to grow free.'

He said he had received 'hundreds of death threats from Nazis' since making his initial posted about Pugilato's son.

Pugilato fronts a right-wing band which shares his name and last week posted an image of them, wearing a T-shirt saying ‘The White Race’ and captioned: ‘We have to make the comeback.’
