Painting Birds with Jim and Nancy Moir returns

Vic Reeves comedian returns to his passion

Vic Reeves comedian Jim Moir has made a second series of Painting Birds with his wife Nancy.

The show will return to Sky Arts on April 17, after the first series became the channel’s most-watched new show of 2023.

Celebrity guests for series 2 include: Justin Hawkins, Mary McCartney, Nitin Ganatra, Stephen Mangan, Joe Pasquale, Ronni Ancona and Imelda May.

And they will visit the likes of Chatsworth Estate to spot dippers, Battersea Power Station to see a pair of nesting peregrines, and the Antrim Coast  in search of puffin.

Phil Edgar-Jones, director of Sky arts and entertainment said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome back Jim and Nancy Moir for a second series of Painting Birds - a real treat that explores our beautiful airborne wildlife through the prism of Jim’s exquisite paintings.’

He commissioned the show from production company Drum Studios.
