Comedian has reportedly signed up for ITV show

The last time he appeared on a high-profile reality show it did not end well.

But his experiences on Strictly Come Dancing apparently haven’t stopped Seann Walsh from signing up to take part in I’m A Celebrity Get me Out Of Here this year.

In a front-page story today, The Sun reports that the 33-year-old comic will be flying out to the Australian jungle later this autumn to take part in the primetime ITV show.

It comes four years after he was photographed kissing his dance partner Katya Jones on Strictly, making him a tabloid pariah - especially when his girlfriend at the time Rebecca Humphries came forward to accuse  him of gaslighting her.

Indeed, such Walsh’s reputation that The Sun’s splash headline is I’m A Celebratty. The newspaper says that ITV bosses hope the comic ‘will finally tell all about his snog’ – although he has spoken about it, and the effect of the fallout, in two stand-up specials.

The first, Kiss, was uploaded to YouTube in March and the second, Seann Walsh is Dead. Happy Now?, was nominated for Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Award in August.

Yesterday it was reported that fellow comic  Babatunde Aleshe would also be appearing in the forthcoming series alongside Boy George and Love Island’s Olivia Attwood.

However ITV have not officially released any names, saying only: ‘We’ll announce our line-up nearer transmission.’
