Dates for 2022 to be announced soon

Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer are to go on tour together next year, Chortle can reveal.

The pair are hitting the road for a series of ‘evening with…’ conversations involving audience questions.

It comes on the back of their successful Gone Fishing programme on BBC Two, which completed its fourth series last month, attracting up to 2.5million viewers per episode.

The description for the tour – which is being staged by leading promoters Phil McIntyre – reads: ‘Bob and Paul invite you to join them for a chat about fishing, life, death and falling over. And Ted of course. Will Bob ever stop winding? Will Paul ever stop whining? This is your chance to ask them. You never know, you might get an answer.’

Six shows have been announced so far in May. Mortimer and Whitehouse tour dates.
