Other awards also announced tonight

Mexican-born, Dutch-based comic Lara Ricote has won the Funny Women stage award.

Runner-up at the final at the Bloomsbury Theatre in Central London was Bronwyn Sweeney with Ola Labib third.

Winners of other, offstage, categories were also handed out. They were:

Best short: Ada Player, for Johnny and Tommy:

Best comedy writing: Kathryn Bond

Best comedy writer (for someone already working in TV): Sophie Duker
