Electric to play more than 50 venues

Ed Gamble has announced a 2022 tour of more than 50 dates.

Electric will be his sixth national tour, and follows Blizzard, which launched at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe, and his Amazon Prime special Blood Sugar, released in 2019.

The blurb for the new show says: ‘After a sell-out tour of his house in 2020 (extended into 2021 due to popular demand), Ol’ Broken Pancreas is charged up and ready to flick the switch on another round of attention seeking.’

It kicks off at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall on February 3, at the start of the city’s comedy festival, and finishes at the Oxford Playhouse  April 23. The tour also includes three nights at London’s Hackney Empire. The full tour dates are here.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, or a day earlier for anyone on his mailing list.

Gamble’s TV credits include Taskmaster,  Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance  and Conan in the US.
