Phoenix Nights' X-rated bouncy castle is up for sale

'Inflatable filth' on eBay for £5,000

The X-rated bouncy castle featured on Phoenix Nights  has come up for sale.

‘Sammy Snake’ famously featured in a 2002 episode of the Channel 4 comedy after Peter Kay’s club owner Brian Potter ordered an inflatable for his family fun day – only to discover to his shock that it came from an Amsterdam sex show and featured a  ‘20ft cock and balls’.

Attempts to disguise the protuberance to make it kid-friendly inevitably failed…

Now the attraction which Kay’s character called ‘inflatable filth’ is on sale via eBay, where it has attracted bids of £5,000 so far.

The seller, from Durham, says he  bought it directly from the production company  and has stored it in his office for the past seven years, and hasn’t hired it out.

He said he thought it was ‘the most famous bouncy castle in the world - and the best’.

The auction closes at 8pm tomorrow.

Here it is in action.
