PETRICHOR: An impressive array of cutting-edge comedy talent has been assembled for this web series, offering behind-the-scenes footage of a fictional, crowdfunded short film. The Pin's Alex Owen leads a cast that includes Ellie White, Al Roberts, Lolly Adefope, Jason Forbes, Katy Wix, Mark Silcox, Freya Parker, Kath Hughes, Ben Ashenden, Edward Easton, Celeste Dring, Adam Drake and Shivani Thussu. The semi-improvised show was created, directed and written by Will Farrell and Ben Rowse, known for his live work with Goose. The series will be released here in four weekly episodes – and here's a trailer:

THE ANNOUNCEMENT: This short film starring Hugo Chegwin, Felicity Montagu and David Schaal and revolving around a tense family man was named best comedy at the Montreal Independent Film Festival earlier this year. It's released online today here.
