Comic joins Hitpig with Peter Dinklage

 Hannah Gadsby is lending her voice to an animated movie for the first time.

The comedian will be joining stars Peter Dinklage and Lilly Singh in the UK-made Hitpig.

It is set in a futuristic world in which the titular  porcine bounty hunter, played by Game Of Thrones star Dinklage must track down Pickles (Singh), a naive, ebullient elephant who has escaped the clutches of an evil trillionaire. 

It has not yet been revealed what Gadsby’s role will be, but co-stars will include The Office’s Rainn Wilson, RuPaul  and French comedian Dany Boon.

Co-directors are Cinzia Angelini, who was the storyboard artist on Minions, and Maurizio Parimbelli, animator on Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix. 

Hitpig has been written by American cartoonist Berkeley Breathed and is currently in production with UK animation house Aniventure and should be ready early in  2022.
