Who's on Jonathan Ross’s Comedy Club this week?

The week's best comedy on TV and radio

It's a very quiet week for comedy on TV and radio, but here are a few picks.

Tuesday September 15

ANGELA BARNES - YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU: A repeat run of this 2016 stand-up series in which the comic remembers her larger-than-life father - a gregarious sex shop manager, naturist, caravan enthusiast and lover of pranks whose 'carpe diem' approach to life was summed up by the title of this series, You Can't Take It With You. But when he died in 2008, she and her family proved him wrong and stuffed his coffin with sentimental keepsakes. In this series, Barnes does the very same thing and asks her loved ones to nominate objects that they would choose to send on with her as mementos of their time together. Radio 4 Extra, 11pm

Wednesday September 16

CHAIN REACTION: Radio 4 Extra repeats series 4 of Chain Reaction, where one week’s guest becomes the following week’s interviewer, from 2008. Tis run kicks off with Catherine Tate interviewing her Dr Who co-star David Tennant. The game of interview tag continues for the next four Wednesdays, featuring Richard Wilson, Arabella Weir and Paul Whitehouse.Radio 4 Extra, 11pm

Thursday September 17

THE SKEWER: Jon Holmes returns with his satirical show based on an atmospheric soundscape, rather than overfamiliar sketch format. Radio 4, 11pm

Friday September 18

THE TWO RONNIES: THE UNSEEN SKETCHES:You may well have missed this when it aired on Channel 5 on Christmas Day last year, so time for a repeat run. This film is based on a 1986 series Mssrs Corbett and Barker made in Sydney, which has never been aired here. Complete sketches are intercut with family members recalling how much theduo enjoyed their Australian venture. Channel 5, 10.30pm

Saturday September 19

JONATHAN ROSS’S COMEDY CLUB: This week, Mawaan Rizwan introduces sets from Nigel Ng, Bec Hill, Jordan Brookes and Kerry Godliman. ITV, 10pm.
