Sacha Baron Cohen spotted filming in LA

Sacha Baron Cohen has been spotted filming new scenes as Borat.

The comedian was spotted wriggling around in the driving seat of a  battered yellow pick-up truck, as it was being towed by a lorry with two cameras trained on him.

However, it's unclear what the scene was being shot for. The 13-second clip was posted online by digital artist Switzon S. Wigfall, III on Monday, apparently shot from his car as he passed by in  Long Beach, Los Angeles.

Baron Cohen has been filming this summer, possibly for a second series of his show Who Is America?, and has twice been rumbled.

In June, he gatecrashed a right-wing pro-gun event in Washington State, urging the audience to urged people to attack  people in masks, liberals, CNN, The World Health Organisation and Barack Obama. In a song he sang: ‘What we gonna do? Inject them with the Wuhan flu or chop ‘em up like the Saudis do.'

And the following month Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani agreed to an interview which was interrupted by a man in outlandish outfit, which turned out to be Cohen.

'This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit,' Giuliani  said at the time. ' It was a pink bikini, with lace, underneath a translucent mesh top, it looked absurd. He had the beard, bare legs, and wasn’t what I would call distractingly attractive.'

Baron Cohen has been performing as Borat, from Khazakstan, since the 1990s including on Da Ali G Show for Channel 4 in 2000 and the 2006 movie that carried his name.
