Iain Stirling and his girlfriend Laura Whitmore are to appear in the new series of  Celebrity Gogglebox.

The Scottish comedian and the Irish TV host will be commenting on the week’s TV output over four episode of the Channel 4 show.

Although the show kicks off on Friday week, the couple will not join until June 26.

Denise Van Outen and her partner Eddie; Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv; and   Zoe Ball and and her son Woody Cook  will be taking part in all episodes.

And those taking part in just the first half of the seven-episode run are Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon; Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra; and former boxer Nicola Adams and her partner Ella

Celebrity Gogglebox is made by Studio Lambert, and the executive producer is Tania Alexander.
