BBC repackages Michael McIntyre’s best bits

New compilation shows on the way

The BBC is to repackage some old footage from Michael McIntyre’s Big Show as the lockdown starts to take its toll on new programming.

Four hour-long compilation episodes, entitled Michael McIntyre’s Big Laughs, have been ordered for BBC One.

According to producers Hungry McBear Media, the shows will ‘revisit some of the most memorable surprises and pranks on celebrities and the audience’ such as Judge Rinder being woken to play the Midnight Gameshow and ‘send to all’ segments featuring Danny Dyer, Holly Willoughby, Olly Murs.

In a statement, McIntyre said: ‘I hope people enjoy watching the best bits from the last five series of the Big Show. Although there are many hilarious Send To Alls and surprises, my favourite part was seeing my hair when it was cut professionally, before my wife took over!’

Broadcast dates have yet to be announced.
