Comic records a sketch for James Corden's show

British comic Michael Spicer has made his American debut on The  Late Late Show with James Corden, thanks to his Room Next Door web series.

The clips – in which he portrays an adviser giving feedback to world leaders via an earpiece – are well-suited to a programme made under lockdown conditions.

And last night he made a special video for the CBS show in which he tried to coach Donald Trump through one of his car-crash Covid-19 briefings – although, of course, the President wouldn't listen.

After the clip, Corden promised that  Spicer would return to the show in the future.

Spicer, who regularly acts in sketches on The Mash Report, won the the Chortle Award for best internet comedy last month for the web series, which has amassed more than 40million views.
